From Zams to the Venet Summit Hut
After a good night sleep and a decent breakfast in the city we went back to Zams by train to pick up the route again. Mam had lost her mobile on yesterday's leg, but against all odds someone had delivered it to the local police in Landeck, so we had to pick it up before we headed upwards to the summit of the Venet mountain. Mam ascended by cable-car, so we could walk the 1200 height meters upwards with a light backpack only. It was an extremely hot day, and the short brake with some icecold softdrinks at the charming Venet Skihut was very welcome! Eventually we reached the summit, and checked inn and got our room, with a stunning view over the Inn-valley. We went to bed early, because we knew the next day would be very tough...
